Oh well hey howdy hey you lovely person of internet-land, how be you?
Yes indeed, its now Week 7 of my university's term. This means deadlines, which therefore means an update here
Anyway, here's some interesting things I've learnt that might interest you:
- The Level in Brighton really is a beautiful place to take photos.
- Within depression, there are 3 clinical entities, not just one 'depression' label.
- The right hemisphere of your brain actually could be helping you to read this right about now, underlying the main system of the more dominant left.
- Hippies are actually ridiculous sometimes.
- Beware seemingly innocent strawberry shortbread in a cafe in Brighton. It will explode in your hands when you try to break it apart. And icing sugar just goes everywhere and it's just a general mess.
- Gherkins are actually a fruit...
- High and increasing optimism levels during university predict a high level of work engagement and low level of burnout 10, 14 and 17 years later... I'm pretty screwed then.
- Samamidon is a pretty good musician. Go listen. Go on.. SHOO!
That may have interested you, it may not. If it didn't... well, tough
I'm off to write about dyslexia and how the brain processes words.
LOVE AND HUGS x
p.s. I apologise for the lack of photo-related content in this post. But my mind isn't working and this is the best I could produce... Better luck next time x
